All legacy nursing qualifications have been phased out effective 31 December 2024 and new qualifications are being phased in.
Two of the new qualifications have already commenced in 2024. These are
- the HIGHER CERTIFICATE in AUXILIARY NURSING (SAQA ID 98915)(NQF Level 5) – a 1 year programme; and
- the DIPLOMA IN NURSING (SAQA ID 97938)(NQF Level 6) – a 3 year programme.
UKWAZI SCHOOL OF NURSING commenced with these qualifications this year.
